No. Zinc Barrier Balm has not undergone formal SPF testing and is not marketed as a sunscreen. Use regulated sun protection when SPF protection is required.

Non-nano zinc oxide creates a physical layer on the skin, making it beautifully suited to a barrier balm designed for skin exposed to the elements.

CAN I USE IT EVERY DAY?
Absolutely. Use it whenever you want that silky, nourishing zinc barrier, from everyday outdoor life to beach, garden, farm, wind and cold.

WHICH SHOULD I CHOOSE, WHITE OR TINTED?
Choose White if you love the classic visible zinc finish.

Choose Tinted if you want the same balm with a sun-kissed, glowing, almost BB cream-like finish.

IS IT SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?
The White version contains no added mineral pigments or Patchouli essential oil, making it the simpler choice for sensitive or reactive-feeling skin. Patch test before first use.

CAN I USE IT ON CHILDREN?
Yes, the White balm is the version I'd choose for family use. Apply externally, avoid the eyes and mouth, and patch test first.

DOES A LITTLE GO A LONG WAY?
Very much so. Start with a light layer and build from there.

The formula has not undergone formal SPF testing to Australian sunscreen standards, so we do not assign or advertise an SPF rating.

Zinc Barrier Balm is a cosmetic skincare product designed to moisturise, condition and provide a physical barrier layer over the skin.

It contains non-nano zinc oxide but has not undergone formal SPF testing and is not marketed or sold as a sunscreen. No SPF or UV protection rating is claimed.

When SPF protection is required, use an appropriately regulated sunscreen and follow sun-safe practices.

Zinc Barrier Balm has an approximate shelf life of 12 months when stored with care.

Keep your stick in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

As a natural tallow-based balm, the texture may become firmer in cooler weather and softer in warmer conditions. This is completely normal and does not affect the quality of the product.

Push up only a small amount at a time, especially in hot weather, and avoid leaving the stick in a hot car or direct sun.
